Dihedral Angles

Dihedral angles are calculated according to the original work by RamaChandran (11) .

NOTE: for short protein peptides (less than 4 amino acids long) and for DNA molecules, the STING Ramachandran plot is not applicable.

Placing the cursor above this element: pop-up area will show the position (sequence number and AA three letter code) for selected amino acid and the Dihedral angle values.
Left mouse click: no action
Right mouse click: on any of the "Dihedral Angles" will generate following menu and actions:

A) "RamaChandran Plot"will call this component of BLUE STAR STING (see HELP on RamaChandran Plot):



B) "STINGit" will induce Chime window to display all residues in CPK rendering with color coding corresponding to the areas in RamaChandran plot:
